67. Death scenes in the client’s most immediate past life are usually the most effective way to bring the LBL client through the gateway into the spirit world. This is because that life represents the most recent entry into the afterlife, so their memories are more vivid. See LBLH 65–73.

68. Apparently, this client’s soul entry did not require immediate restoration of energy at the gateway. See DS 90–92.

69. One often finds these idyllic scenes as a prelude to orientation. See JS 53–70, DS 90–92, and LBLH 109.

70. Because of human stereotypes, the elders are often portrayed in the minds of hypnosis subjects as old, white-haired beings—mostly men. This sort of visualization denotes beings of wisdom in the human mind, so the characterization is applied to spiritual council settings. The more advanced souls usually report the elders as being genderless. Also, we often hear about a raised dais, or table, for the elders above the soul before them. This visualization too denotes authority in the human mind. See DS 212 and LBLH 148–150.
